The thing is that all of our habits, routines, and reactions are all on autopilot. Our thoughts and reactions are all in the same order. I don’t know what the heck the heck is going on here… but we have a lot of other habits we can’t stop and think.
I mean, I guess we could stop and think about everything and get all the answers but it would take us forever.
That’s true. But what if we could learn how to stop autopilot for a while? What if we could learn to turn off autopilot and just be fully awake? I mean, I guess that would be a whole lot easier to do, wouldn’t it? If we could learn how to turn off autopilot and then just be fully awake, that would be a whole lot easier to do.
A good example of how to turn off autopilot is to simply be fully awake, to not think about anything else. This can be done by simply watching something that really excites you; by simply having more of a clear mind than you normally do.
People are often told that they need to turn off autopilot to be more aware of their surroundings. The problem is that when you become fully awake, you still don’t really know what’s going on around you. That is, of course, until you are fully awake and are able to experience things a little bit more personally.
Autopilot is when we are on autopilot, not necessarily when we are fully awake, but when we are on our own personal time loop. We get up in the morning, we go to work, we have a good day at work, then we go back to our home, we eat dinner, we go to sleep, and then we repeat the same cycle again. The problem is that if you are fully awake, it is hard to maintain this loop.
This is a good time to remember that you are an autopilot. But I believe that it is possible to get on autopilot when you are fully awake. We like to think of it as a time loop, in which the autopilot is always moving around and getting on autopilot for a while.
When you are fully awake, you’re not going to be able to maintain this loop. We’re not going to be able to keep it on autopilot. When we are fully awake, we can’t keep it on autopilot.
How you are fully awake is not the same as being fully awake. Were not going to be able to keep it on autopilot. The time loop is a good metaphor for the fact that we are not. At this point we can only get on autopilot by keeping the loop going. But we can do this because we are actually awake. The time loop is a great metaphor for how we think we are.
