There had been 16 teams in complete and we completed in 5th and 13th positions. It was a cold and windy day and Mrs Townsend reported again that all of the kids performed nicely, their recreation play improved tremendously all through the day. This week 16 Year four’s went to Deeping Astro to take part in a hockey festival with Mrs Oakley.

We misplaced one, drew two and gained one (the total winners!). Our final football match of the league happened on Tuesday at house against Linchfield. Our gymnastic squad took part within the annual competition in Grantham. Mrs Porteus was extraordinarily proud with all the women and was joyful to convey the trophy back to Baston. We are a well being selling faculty and encourage the children to deliver a bit of fresh fruit to school every single day. Sweets should not be introduced to high school and never included in packed lunches.
